In the ice - at last

Finally came onto the ice today. Lots more eager snapping.....

The rocking and rolling is now replaced by the crash, bang, wallop as the Shack breaks through the ice. Hard to imagine there's still another 1,000 miles of sea-ice before we reach the Antarctic.

The first 'berg

Ships crew said it was about 4 miles away.

All us 'newbies' dashed outside and got cold and drenched trying to get pictures.....i'm sure the novelty will wear off.
